The STIGA Estate 384 is a compact and capable lawn tractor designed for homeowners who need efficient mowing performance without the size of a full-scale garden tractor. Its relatively narrow design allows it to pass through a 36-inch garden gate, while its cutting capacity makes it suitable for lawns of up to approximately 1.5 acres.
Powered by a 432cc petrol engine, the Estate 384 uses a fully hydrostatic transmission for smooth and effortless driving. The clutchless system is controlled through a foot pedal, allowing you to continuously adjust the forward or reverse speed without manually changing gears. Moving between forward and reverse is quick and smooth, which is particularly useful when working around trees, borders and other obstacles.
Twin-Blade Cutting System
The cutting deck uses two contra-rotating blades designed to provide an even and clean finish while efficiently moving grass towards the rear collection system.
Blade engagement is controlled by an electronic clutch, operated conveniently from the driver’s position with a simple switch.
The deck provides seven cutting-height settings from 25mm to 80mm, giving you the flexibility to choose the appropriate height for different lawn conditions.
240-Litre Grass Collector
Cut grass is directed into the large 240-litre rear-mounted collector, providing plenty of capacity for mowing larger areas before emptying is required.
The collector can be emptied conveniently without the operator needing to leave the driver’s seat, helping keep mowing sessions efficient.
Mulching Function
A mulching plug is supplied as standard, allowing you to switch from grass collection to mulching when conditions are suitable.
During mulching, the grass is repeatedly cut into much finer pieces before being distributed back into the turf. When the lawn is maintained regularly and the appropriate cutting height is selected, the small clippings can disappear into the grass and return useful organic material to the soil.
Mulching can also reduce the need to stop and empty the grass collector, potentially making regular mowing considerably more efficient.
Easy Deck Maintenance
Cleaning the cutting deck is made easier with the integrated hose connection. After mowing, a garden hose can be connected to the deck to help remove accumulated grass and debris.
The tractor is also supplied with a tow bar, allowing compatible tow-behind accessories to be used for additional garden tasks.
