98cm Twin-Blade Cutting Deck
The mower is equipped with a 98cm cutting deck featuring two synchronised blades, providing an efficient cutting pattern across a wide area. Seven cutting-height positions allow the deck to be adjusted between 25mm and 80mm, giving you flexibility for different grass conditions.
Anti-scalp wheels help maintain consistent deck positioning, while the electromagnetic blade clutch allows the cutting system to be engaged conveniently.
Side Discharge or Mulching
The Tornado 398M is particularly suited to gardeners who don’t want to repeatedly stop to empty a grass collector.
For longer grass, the side-discharge system cuts and distributes the clippings back onto the lawn. When the grass is being maintained regularly, the supplied mulching kit allows the blades to finely recut the clippings so they can settle back into the turf.
Mulching can help reduce mowing interruptions because there is no collection box to empty, making it a practical choice for larger lawn areas.
Comfortable Driving Position
The Tornado 398M features a comfortable seat and soft-grip steering wheel, helping provide a pleasant driving position during longer mowing sessions. The cutting-height lever is positioned beside the seat for straightforward adjustment.
